About

That’s me. I’m the admin for this blog. My name is Drew, and that’s not my dog.

My story is like most I met on my travels. I quit my corporate job as a data analyst at a telecom company in January 2018 because I needed a break (as sometimes happens). Was it scary? Yes. Did I have another job lined up? No. Was that even scarier? Yes. Am I still alive and doing well for myself? Yeah, I think so.

When I started traveling, I was certainly looking for something, but if you were to have asked me what I was looking for, my honest response would have been, “I barely know what I am going to have for dinner.” And that’s basically how I live my life now. Present and aware. Not too far in the future.

Why I started this blog?
What I love about my travels is meeting people. I needed a platform to share my stories and to help those I met share stories that they find important. Once you come back from traveling for any length of time, it’s important to not keep the amazing things that took place to yourself. We don’t go through things to keep them to ourselves. They are meant to be shared. My goal is to continue to spark that wanderlust and inspire through true-life events.

A side note (or two) of useless information:
My favorite food is toast. I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

In case you’re wondering, my favorite dinosaur is a Thesaurus, because it’s scary, terrifying, frightening, horrifying, creepy…

And I love terribly, bad jokes.

Let’s build something together.
